Aroma: Exotic, full-bodied floral with warm, spicy undertones and a touch of apricot. Champaka flowers are a unique aroma that combines the floral notes of jasmine, lavender, lilac, and fresh greenery with the earthy notes of patchouli and sandalwood.

Traditional Use:  The flower extract is used as a primary ingredient in world’s most expensive perfumes.

Properties:  Aphrodisiac, emollient, febrifuge. warming, calming, reduce stress, euphoriatic , aid breathing

How to Use:  Used in aroma lamp, diffuser, bath, inhaler, massage, light bulb ring, mist spray.

Blends well with:   It generally blends well with all oils, but specifically, it blends well with Sandalwood, Neroli and Ylang Ylang.

Safety:  Avoid while pregnant. Not for internal use.

HISTORY OF USE

Champaca Oil is derived from a subtropical tree with gorgeous & deeply fragrant flowers.

The flowers are used in Southeast Asia for several purposes. Especially in India, they are primarily used for worship at temples whether at home or out, and more generally worn in hair by girls and women as a means of beauty ornament as well as a natural perfume. Flowers are used to be floated in bowls of water to scent the room, as a fragrant decoration for bridal beds, and for garlands.

It takes thousands and thousands of petals in order to produce a single kilogram of the oil. Champaka flowers are revered by the Hindus and are used to honour the God Vishnu.
