Essential Oil Cedarwood Texas
Essential Oil Cedarwood Texas
Essential Oil Cedarwood Texas has a woodier and more mellow scent compared to the similarly named Himalayan variety. Immensely popular, this variety of cedarwood is absolutely wonderful. Â Texas (and Virginian) cedars are actually junipers, and this accounts for the distinction in aroma from Himalayan and Atlas Cedar varieties. Â Texas cedarwood is sought after not only for its aromatic qualities but also for the therapeutic benefits it harnesses. It is considered an astringent which helps to tighten the skin and improve skin complexion. It is also thought to stimulate the immune system and purify the air. Its scent promotes tranquillity and combats negative thoughts. Cedarwood Texas oil is also considered an effective insect repellent.
Texas cedarwood is an essential addition to cosmetic applications, personal care formulations, soaps, perfumery, insect repellents, and aromatherapy. Â The filtered and refined cedar oil has the authentic cedar fragrance, just as it occurs in the wood of the native Texas Cedar (Juniperous mexicana). Cedarwood has been known through the ages as one of mother nature’s best insect repellents because of the aromatic cedar oil contained in it. Texas cattle fences are built with cedar posts which resist decay and pest infestation for 50 years or more.
